Dear Sport Ireland Stakeholder,

A number of new public health measures were announced by Government yesterday evening.

 Sport Ireland will provide additional guidance on the  below items in the coming days as further detail emerges and the formal Regulations are drafted.

Sport & Physical Activity:

 FROM MAY 10

·       Inter-county travel can resume

·       outdoor training for adults in pods of a maximum of 15 people can return

FROM JUNE 7  (Subject to the Public Health Situation)

·    Recommencement of outdoor competition (without spectators)

·    Indoor facilities such as gyms, swimming pools & sports-leisure centres can reopen. (individual training only)

Further announcements will be made at the end of June in relation to indoor team sport including training and competition.

Further details will also be provided then in relation to exercise classes.
