IRISH BOWLING ASSOCIATION (IBA)

The Irish Bowling Association (IBA) is the governing body of the sport of men’s outdoor bowls in Ireland.

The objects of the IBA are to promote, foster and regulate the game of bowls in Ireland in every legitimate way by holding annual competitions; by selecting and arranging the teams for the BIBC International Series and other representative matches; and by co-operating with kindred associations throughout the world for the furtherance of the game.

The IBA consists of the Northern Ireland Private Greens Bowling league (NIPGL), the Northern Ireland Bowling Association (NIBA), the Northern Ireland Provincial Bowling Association (NIPBA) and Irish Lawn Bowls (ILB). Clubs applying for membership of the IBA must be in membership of one of these Association of Clubs.
