Sport Ireland have clarified the “two households” directive in their 1st April announcement on a return to sport following the recent government relaxation of Covid related restrictions.
Bowls can only be played in singles and pairs. Pairs are confined to bowlers belonging to a maximum of 2 households.
They say that the aim of the easing of restrictions is the gradual reopening of activities so a cautious approach is recommended to begin and that  “Ideally we have to keep numbers down, ensure no large/multiple groups are coming together, staggering start and finish times etc.”
