The President, Pat Wall, with the full support of the BLI Executive, has decided to postpone all BLI related activities until further notice. Apart from bowling, this includes player registration,championship entries,green inspections etc. I am aware that most,  if not all , clubs are already closed or have delayed their unfurlings and the start of their new season.  The Aer Lingus Classic was postponed last week. Already the World Bowls tournament in Australia has been deferred.  The BIBC  have today cancelled the championships due to be held in Wales in June and  as a result the IBA have decided to postpone the Senior Inter Association scheduled for Dublin in May.
The Executive will keep abreast of the situation while following government and Sport Ireland guidelines. As soon as things improve I will contact you with new arrangements for leagues,cups and championships.
The Executive wish all the clubs and their members a safe passage through these difficult times.
