Herbert Park Bowling Club is based in Dublin 4 in the beautiful surrounds of Herbert Park itself
The club dates back to the 1950’s and is still going strong today
There is play each week for men and women of all ages
and we would be delighted to welcome any new members along!
No experience needed!
Play Times
Club Roll Up Play
Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons 2.00pm to 4.00pm
And on Sunday mornings, from 11.00am to 12.30pm
Parking available at the park
Free after 2pm Monday to Friday
Free parking on Saturdays and Sundays

*The OUTDOOR bowls season commences 27th April and runs until the end of MID SEPTEMBER.
Club days : Tuesday & Thursday @ 6:30 pm and Saturdays @ 2.30pm
*The INDOOR bowls season commences in September and runs until May. Club nights : Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 7:15 pm .
NEW MEMBERS OF ALL AGES ARE WELCOME. COME ALONG ANY OF THE ABOVE DAYS. JUST BRING FLAT SHOES
History
It is believed that the bowls club was founded in the 1920’s starting off in Glasheen road. Unfortunately early records of the club had disappeared ! The original club was for Men only. In 1962 the Ladies club was formed. In 1972 the club moved to its current home in Garryduff. Currently there are about 24 members. The club has won several BLI Cups competitions & members have won various BLI Championships. Our new green was installed for the 2023 season

Interested in taking part in a relaxing sport in great surroundings, pleasant and friendly company then our bowls section is the place for you. All new members will receive free instruction and all equipment will be provided. If you are interested, please come come along any of the above days.

Dun Laoghaire
Dun Laoghaire Bowling Club (DLBC) is based at Eglington Park and was
established in 1965. Our green is synthetic which means unlike grass
greens, bowling can be enjoyed all year round.
DLBC caters for bowlers of all ages and standards and teams compete
in both the Summer and Winter Leagues.
Coaching for new bowlers is available at the club throughout the year.
Social Bowling takes place on Tuesday and Friday mornings starting at
11am.
