Officers and committees serve for a one year term. Officers are elected at the A.G.M. each year, with the Vice President, automatically taking over from the President. Committees are selected at the first Council meeting following the AGM.

Selectors serve a two year term with two retiring by rota each year.  The International Selector is appointed at the January IBA Council meeting every third year on the nomination of the BLI
